Detachment #757 supports the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce. We've made many good friends in the Lake Havasu City community through the Chamber's AM Exchanges, Evening Mixers, their Business Expos, et al. #757 has also benefited from the various training courses sponsored by the Chamber, especially Social Media (our Facebook page) and Marketing on the Internet. The Following is a write-up from the Chamber... The Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest chamber of commerce in northwestern Arizona. Independent of any government funding, we are proud to represent more than 700 businesses and individuals that employ more than 20,000 in the greater Lake Havasu area. Small business makes up about 90 percent of Chamber membership, which mirrors the overall Lake Havasu business community. While you are busy working in your business, the Lake Havasu Area Chamber advocates for you by developing a climate in which business can create jobs and operate at a profit. The Chamber represents the interests of business with government, provides outstanding connection opportunities, supports business-friendly legislation, recommends candidates for public elected office, hosts premier special events, and promotes the community. All of this is geared to promote our beautiful, unique part of the great State of Arizona.
